1月30日 Times Square and winter break for the winThe excitement of moving and getting settled in has died down a bit, I'm getting used to the fact that I'm living in Times Square, New york and that everything's so convenient for me to get to; class, home, resteraunts, entertainment (Broadway!), etc..etc.. The irony of all this was I never really felt this city was that great to begin with... yet here I am living in probably the most well known area of this city. I feel very fortunate though to have found such a great place in such a great location and this past break made me realize how lucky I am to have such a great family. Break was very enjoyable, went to Atlantic City, gambled...won 3 dollars, hated it, skiing twice (Vermont!) and owned in guild wars. To those I haven't spoken to...hope ur doing well, and to those who are chinese, happy late new year, hah anyway, pics, enjoy.
edit: (anyone know how to post comments below pictures?) I just wanted to comment on some of the pictures; 10th pic I was imitating how those twerps in Chronicles of Narnia were walking through that door to Narnia, notice how outside is still snowing, I thought it was pretty accurate to.... movie.... to book, haha.
3rd and 4th pic- my apartment, come visit
See those Times Square pics? That's right outside my apartment, YES.
Vermont, Skiing pics are self explanatory but notice my carefully wrapped scarf around my face, ninja for life. and dog sledding!
last few are of Atlantic City, the hotels are nice, too bad the surrounding city is full of crack whores. 12月14日 gundam's twinthought this was interesting, same gundam model, different time, different place, 1st one's in japan, second in hong kong, I wonder how many of these things they make. 10月30日 GW pump you up9月23日 Forever doesn't feel like forever anymoreI used to bitch about Boston a lot before, it was mostly due to how cold it always felt. Boston's cold 10 months out of the year, and those 2 months of sunshine months aren't that great either. To me, it feels like I've been here forever, when I think back to freshman year, it seems like ages ago... and its always suprises me how fast time really flies. Now, here I am typing this, a senior, graduating in December.
These past three days have passed by incredibly slow, I've never felt so bored, hours have never gone by so slow, guild wars has never felt so boring, classes have never seemed so long.. in a long long time. I've made 3 goals for myself in my last semester here at Northeastern. Ace all my classes, find a college that has a post bacc program and find a girlfriend. I realize that I might not be in Boston after this semester so I really don't want to leave regretting not having tried anything. Being a senior changes your perspectives on things.
In the past 2 years, I've never really placed too much priority on hanging out or girls for a while. But when I realize that this is my last 4 months in Boston, the place that I've called "home" in the last 5 years.. it's kind of sad. I've grown accustomed to the luxuries of having a very nice mall 2 blocks away from where I live, a huge church, a 1/2 mile man made lake, newbury street which is full of all of these neat eateries and clothing shops, a 5 minute walk from Landsdowne Street, home to Avaland, rated #1 dance club in America and 59 other universities here in boston!.
Yeah, I've grown used to it. I pass by these luxuries everyday and I realize that once I go back home or wherever I end up, I might not have these luxuries anymore. So here's to you Boston, may these last 3 months be the most memorable out of my time spent here.
*Reminiscing: Here's two pictures of my freshman dorm room from this summer. Yes, FRESHMAN dorm room. I actually managed to sneak into my building and old room when I was showing my friend around.
1st and 4th photo: a picture of the man made lake, the church and the Prudential Tower in the background. I'll try to post one without my friend in it later on. 2nd photo: chuckles, heh, yes, this brings back many memories of me staring at my computer alt tabbing between Starcraft and AIM convos, haha.
3rd photo: It's actually quite small, see? And there's the huge window where I had a view of my car in the parking lot and prudential center, (tallest building in boston).
9月17日 Update of many pictureshey everyone, I've been lazy on the updates. Mike, Indian Mike(haha), beboy, Andrew.. how are you guys? Sorry, haven't been in the mood to play sc lately, whenever I do have free time, I just go back to GW. I sign on sometimes though and you guys aren't on.
